Detours
The following are detours to which Long Beach Transit is aware and has received
appropriate notice. Long Beach Transit makes every attempt to inform customers of
detours, but not all detours may appear below. For the most up-to-date information,
call Customer Service at (562) 591-2301.
Downtown Transportation
July 4, 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
All traffic south of Ocean Boulevard and to the Queen Mary will be temporarily shut down by the Long Beach Police Department from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. for the Queen Mary fireworks.
Atlantic Avenue at Pacific Coast Highway, Southbound
This stop is closed due to construction until further notice.
Routes 101, 102, 103
Until Further Notice
Construction on the median on Carson between Clark and Faculty has reduced the road
to one lane. There are no stop closures, but expect more than normal delays.

This section lists long-term bus route detours due to major construction projects
in our service area. Temporary bus detours that may last several hours or for a
few days will usually not be displayed on our web site. Please call us at 562-591-2301
to check if the bus route you are planning to ride is experiencing any short-term
