Stay Connected with LBT

There are many ways to stay connected with LBT!

The Moovit App makes trip planning even easier on the go. Available for Android and Apple devices.  

Text For Next provides customers with live updates on bus arrival times. Find out when your bus will arrive by texting LBT + your stop ID to 41411. Be sure to include a space between LBT and your stop ID before sending.

Water Taxis

Water Taxi services have been paused for the season. Service is expected to be back in Spring 2024.

Galaxy Express

LBT is proud to offer free shuttle service for Galaxy fans to Dignity Health Sports Park on game days from two convenient locations. 

Boarding Locations  

The Galaxy Express picks up soccer fans at the Harbor Gateway Transit Center (731 W. 182nd St., Gardena, CA 90248) and the Metro A-Line, Del Amo Station (20220 Santa Fe Ave., Rancho Dominguez, CA 90220). Both of these locations offer free parking

Schedule

The Galaxy Express boards every 10 – 15 minutes beginning 90 minutes before kick-off through the match’s 15th minute. Return trips begin after the game and run 45 minutes after the final whistle.

UCLA/Westwood Commuter Express - Ride with us to West LA

UCLA students, faculty and staff members and others can take the away stress of traveling on the 405 freeway with LBT’s UCLA/Westwood Commuter Express (route 405) service from Long Beach to West Los Angeles. Free parking is available at the Long Beach Airport and Willow Station for trips departing from Long Beach.

Route 405 does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Fares and Accepted Payments

One-Way: $4 (exact cash only paid on board)

One-Way Reduced for Senior 62+/Medicare: $2 (exact cash only paid on board, must show proof of senior or disabled status for discount)

Round-Trip*: $7 (exact cash only paid on board)

Round-Trip Reduced for Senior 62+/Medicare*: $3.50 (exact cash only paid on shuttle, must show proof of senior or disabled status for discount)

LBT’s UCLA/Westwood 30-Day Pass**: $120 (purchased on TAP App, TAP website, and the Long Beach Transit & Visitor Information Center)

*Round-trip passes also include unlimited rides on LBT buses on the date of purchase.

**30-Day passes also include unlimited rides on LBT buses for the month of purchase.

Dial-A-Lift

Long Beach Transit’s Dial-A-Lift is a curb-to-curb, shared ride exclusively for persons who are unable to use the bus system. Dial-A-Lift drivers operate ADA-compliant vehicles and are specially trained in the needs of persons with disabilities. Click here for more information.
