This summer, one bus can take you to a world of beachfront fun.

Summer is the season to explore Long Beach. And Long Beach Transit is the best way to get around. Go straight to activities like the Pirate Invasion and Moonlight Movies on the Beach - check below for all the summer happenings with LBT.

Museum Express

Weekends in July and August are for art, history and culture. LBT’s Museum Express takes you directly from Downtown Long Beach to over a dozen must-see venues in the LA area. And this year, for the first time, Museum Express is expanding its service to the Morongo Casino in Palm Springs.

Purchase your ticket ahead of time using the Token Transit app. For instructions on how to use the app, as well as participating museums and route schedules, visit lbtransit.com/express.

Moonlight Movies on the Beach

We’ll see you at the movies - literally! Come say hi at the LBT booth when you head to the beach for Alfredo’s Moonlight Movies on the Beach. We’ll be there with games, prizes, and information about all things LBT.

And this year, don’t miss out on Transit Night at Shoreline Village. For the first time one of the Moonlight Movies will be shown in Shoreline Village and the best part is you can arrive there by boat! AquaLink will take you to this stop from Alamitos Bay or the Queen Mary for just $5. Check back for more details about this special night.
